Lifeline continues one of its most beloved traditions with an eighth season of concert readings! This time, we’re featuring the Dorothy L. Sayers Series!

2017-18 Concert Reading Series

Strong Poison: November 6, 2019
Gaudy Night: March 8, 2020
Busman’s Honeymoon: June 17, 2020

Tickets: $75; $50 for Lifeline subscribers.

Each evening begins at 6 p.m. with a light supper plus beer and wine (and conversation with the cast and Lifeline ensemble). At 7 p.m., the performances start. (Script times vary, but are approximately two and a half hours in length.) Afterwards, coffee and dessert will be served.

Only 108 tickets will be sold for each performance. Tickets can only be ordered by calling the Lifeline Box Office at 773-761-4477.

STORIES COME ALIVE!: Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile 

Lifeline teaching artists will read from Bernard Waber’s Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile and play drama games with children of all ages (parents welcome too). Lifeline’s Fall KidSeries production of Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile runs at Lifeline Theatre from October 19-November 24, 2019.

Bring the whole family and learn more about our KidSeries shows! Kids will meet the cast, watch a scene or song from the show, and experience craft activities based on the play with one of Lifeline’s teaching artists. Adults will enjoy coffee and conversation with our writers, directors, and educators and get a behind-the-scenes peek at what goes into bringing our children’s stories to life.
