Education Internship
Start Date: July 8, 2019
End Date: August 2, 2019
Hours: 9am-3pm or 8am-5pm for those interns who can provide paid care before and/or after camp

Lifeline Theatre is currently seeking SUMMER TEACHING INTERNS to support our drama programs for youth. Interns receive training and mentorship from some of the best drama teachers in Chicago through our classes and camps, and the opportunity for leadership in the classroom and beyond. We are seeking three motivated, energetic individuals to assist on our programs who have some experience working with children and a desire to learn more about the teaching artist profession. The internship is unpaid for class time, but there are stipends available for before- and after care hours.

The programs are:
Drama Kids: Ages 5-7. July 8 - July 12 (Session 1); July 15 - July 19 (Session 2); July 22 - July 26; 9am to 12pm.
Drama Stars: Ages 8-12. July 15 - July 19 (Session 2); July 22 - July 26; 9am to 3pm (Full Day) or 9am to 12 noon (Half-Day).
Drama Stars Boot Camp: July 29 - August 2.

Costume Internship
Start Date: May 13, 2019
End Date: July 19, 2019
Hours: Flexible, based on production schedule

We are currently seeking a Costume Intern to work on Emma, the final production of our 18/19 season, adapted by Phil Timberlake and directed by Elise Kauzlaric. The Costume Intern will work directly with the Costume Designer for the production. The Intern will also work with our Production Manager and Operations Director on various costume related projects. We are seeking a motivated, energetic individual with some experience in stitching, patterning, dying or craftwork and a desire to learn more about the costume design profession. The internship is unpaid.
