Time Explorers (4-6 year old Campers)
One 1-week session-half day camp
July 6-10, 2026
9:00am – 12:00pm, Mon-Fri
$250 per child per session
Join us at Lifeline Theatre this summer as we blast off into new worlds and times! Campers will invent magical characters, build forts and time portals, and go on playful theatrical adventures across different eras. Using their bodies, voices, and imaginations, they’ll explore characters inspired by the book A Mighty Fine Time Machine by Suzanne Bloom, and bring their own time-travel stories to life.
Young campers will build and ensemble and create their own adaptation to be shared at 11:30am on Friday, July 10th.
Time Voyagers (6-9 year old Campers)
Two 1-week sessions
July 13-17 & 27-31 2026
9:00am – 3:00pm, Mon-Fri
$500 per child per session
Journey through the ages with Lifeline Theatre’s Time Voyagers! Campers will explore ancient, modern, and future worlds, creating imaginative characters and time-travel settings for theatrical adventures. They’ll play drama games, experiment with design, and adapt stories inspired by the books listed below into short ensemble performances.
Each group will present a final sharing on the last Friday of their camp at 2:30pm.

Time Navigators (8-10 year old Campers)
Two 1-week sessions
July 20-24 & 27-31, 2026
9:00am – 3:00pm, Mon-Fri
$500 per child per session
Step into different centuries and beyond with Lifeline Theatre’s Time Navigators! Campers will invent characters, craft time-travel worlds, and go on theatrical adventures spanning the past, present, and future. Using drama games and design activities, they’ll create original scenes inspired by the books listed below, bringing their stories fully to life.
Each group will perform their ensemble creations in a final sharing at 2:30pm on the last Friday of their session.

Lifeline Theatre Intensive: Time Bandits (10-14 year-old Campers)
One 1-week session

Blast off into the ages with the Lifeline Theatre Time-Travel Intensives! These week-long camps immerse campers in the full magic of theatre, exploring creativity on stage and behind the scenes—past, present, and future. Each day features hands-on workshops led by guest Chicago theatre professionals, introducing improvisation, puppetry, stage combat, theatrical design, and more.
Campers will work as a time-traveling ensemble to create a final performance for parents and friends on the last day of camp at 2:30pm.
