The Lifeline Theatre Intensive is a week-long camp designed to give campers an immersive experience in the captivating world of theatrical design and performance, where they can explore the artistry and creativity both on and off the stage. In addition to scene work, play adaptation, and drama games, each camp day features a different guest Chicago theatre professional who provides a window into their specialty. Guest artists lead hands-on experiences for the campers, including improvisation, stage combat, puppetry, and set design, giving campers a better understanding of all the different roles in theatre.
Campers will collaborate as an ensemble to create a final sharing for parents and friends on Friday, July 25th, using the book Ten Word Tiny Tales to Inspire and Unsettle by Joseph Coelho & 21 Artist Friends as a creative touchpoint.
