Heyer returns to Lifeline for THREE NIGHTS ONLY!
Following the runaway success of our 2012-13 Dorothy L. Sayers Series, Lifeline continues the tradition with concert readings of three beloved Georgette Heyer adaptations by ensemble member Christina Calvit: Pistols for Two (originally produced in 2000, Non-Equity Jeff Award winner for New Adaptation), Cotillion (originally produced in 1998), and The Talisman Ring (originally produced in 1996, remounted in 2005). All three readings will be directed by Artistic Director Dorothy Milne and will feature numerous Lifeline ensemble actors and original cast members.
Pistols for Two: December 4, 2013
Cotillion: February 26, 2014
The Talisman Ring: April 2, 2014
Each evening begins at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeurves, a light supper, and wine (plus conversation with the cast and Lifeline ensemble). At 7 p.m., the performances start. (Script times vary, but are approximately two and a half hours in length.) Afterwards, coffee and dessert will be served.
Only 108 tickets will be sold for each performance.
Tickets are $50 for Lifeline subscribers ($75 for the general public) and can only be ordered by calling the Lifeline Box Office at 773-761-4477.
