Amira Danan (Elinor)
Amira makes her Lifeline Theatre debut. Her Chicago credits include: A Doll’s House (Raven Theatre), Comedy of Errors (Chicago Shakespeare), Bernhardt/Hamlet (Goodman Theatre), and Southern Gothic (Windy City Playhouse). Regional credits include School Girls (TheatreSquared), and the world premiere of Ever in the Glades by Laura Schellhardt (The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts). She holds a BA in Theatre and Musical Theatre with a minor in African-American Studies from Northwestern University. Scott Danielson (Col. Brandon/John)
Scott is stoked to return to Lifeline after performing in 2019’s Whose Body? His recent work includes A Very Fatal Murder: Season Two (The Onion), Nine to Five (Firebrand Theatre), Chicago Fire (NBC), Shakespeare in Love (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre), Bright Star, Urinetown (BoHo Theatre), Once In a Lifetime, Quiz Show, The Arsonists (Strawdog), and The Full Monty (Kokandy Productions). Scott is a two-time nominee and one-time recipient of the Non-Equity Joseph Jefferson Award for Actor in a Supporting Role – Musical. He is a proud Illinois State University alumnus, a Strawdog Theatre Company ensemble member, and is represented by Shirley Hamilton. Love to Nellie and KPBF.
Andrés Enriquez (Willoughby/Mr. Palmer)
Andrés is proud to have been on both the MainStage and the KidSeries stage for Lifeline, having understudied The Velveteen Rabbit and Soon I Will Be Invincible, then appearing in Sparky!, Northanger Abbey, and most recently, Sylvester. Other notable productions in the Chicagoland area include Forever Plaid (Fox Valley Repertory), The Life and Death Of Madame Barker (Red Tape Theatre), Love and Information (Remy Bumppo), The Adding Machine (The Hypocrites), and In The Heights(Porchlight Music Theater). He has also worked with such great Chicago companies as Underscore Theater Company, Strawdog Theatre, 16th Street Theater, and Theater at the Center in Munster, IN. Andrés received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Iowa in 2012. Andrés is also the Music Director of No Big Deal, a Chicago a cappella quartet, and a proud company member of Barrel of Monkeys.
Carisa C. Gonzalez (Marianne)
Carisa is so excited to be back with her Lifeline fam in her first Jane Austin work! While she hopes you’ll enjoy the sound of her voice, she was last physically seen in the World Premiere of The Secret of My Success at The Paramount Theater in Aurora. Anthony Kayer (Lord Middleton/Doctor/The entire serving class of England)
Anthony joined Lifeline’s artistic ensemble in 2017. While in school he originated the role of Mr. Bing in Arnie the Doughnut (2011) and since then has acted in the Lifeline productions of The Emperor’s New Threads, Lyle Finds His Mother, and Jane Eyre (2014), assistant directed Northanger Abbey (Non-Equity Jeff Award: New Work-Musical), and directed Bunnicula (2018) and Bunny’s Book Club. Other Chicago credits include work with Next Theatre (Iphigenia 2.0), Lookingglass/Chicago Children’s Choir (Sita Ram) – where he utilized his circus training as Circus Captain, Inappropriate Theatre Company (R&J: a techno ballet, (the)Forget_Me\Knot), and The House Theatre of Chicago (The Great and Terrible Wizard of Oz).
Frances Limoncelli (Mrs. Dashwood/Mrs. Jennings/Mrs. Ferrars)
Frances has been a member of Lifeline’s artistic ensemble since 1995. As an adaptor she created Mrs. Caliban (Non-Equity Jeff nomination: New Adaptation), as well as the popular Dorothy L. Sayers series: Whose Body?, Strong Poison (Non-Equity Jeff Award: New Adaptation), Gaudy Night(Non-Equity Jeff Award: New Adaptation), and Busman’s Honeymoon (Non-Equity Jeff Award: New Adaptation), all for Lifeline’s MainStage. For Lifeline’s KidSeries she created The Emperor’s Groovy New Clothes; Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch; and Arnie the Doughnut with composer/lyricist George Howe, which was a Next Link Selection in the 2012 NY Musical Theatre Festival. Her plays have been seen in such regional theatres as the Cleveland Playhouse in Ohio, the PTC Performance Space in New York, Taproot Theatre in Seattle, and the Manitoba Theatre Center in Winnipeg. At Lifeline, Frances directed Simple Jim And His Four Fabulous Friends, The Story Of Ferdinand, Miss Bianca, Half Magic, Cooking with Lard, and the new musical Queen Lucia. Her Chicago area acting credits include roles at Goodman, Northlight, Appletree, the Blackstone, Theatre at the Center, the Ivanhoe, Bailiwick, Light Opera Works; and the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. At Lifeline, she played Hetty in Pistols For Two, Jancis in Precious Bane, the Blue Fairy in Pinocchio, Chester the Cat in Bunnicula, the title role in Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle, and Jane in Lifeline’s production of Pride and Prejudice for Chicago Theatres on the Air.
Corrbette Pasko (Fanny/Lady Middleton/Anne Steele)
Corrbette is a writer, actor, singer, comedian, producer, VO artist, professional swearer, royal food taster, parent, eyebrow raiser, and magnificent injury-haver. She’s thrilled to be back with Lifeline for your ears only, having been in The Man Who Was Thursday and Soon I Will Be Invincible with the company where you could also see her. As a voiceover artist, Corrbette can also be heard on podcasts like Unwell: A Midwestern Gothic Mystery (winner of the BBC Audio Awards for best podcast), The Vanishing Act, Who the F*ck Are You?, and that number you call for help and it says you can’t speak to an agent yet (she’s very sorry. that really is her job). Corrbette is also the host and producer of Write Club, a live lit show where literature is bloodsport. Her digital comedy series, Corri and Sara Are Famous with her writing partner, Sara Sevigny, is currently in post and she can’t wait for you to see it. Madeline Pell (Margaret/Charlotte Palmer/Lucy Steele/Harry)
Madeline is delighted to be working with Lifeline Theatre again, where she was last seen in Emma (Harriet, et al), A Wrinkle in Time (Mrs. Whatsit) and We Found a Hat (u/s). A graduate of Roosevelt University’s C.C.P.A., she is now pursuing her MA in Acting with the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in the UK (expected graduation September 2021). She received a Jeff Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor and Best Ensemble for her work in Emma and some of her film credits include The Exorcist (FOX) and He’s the Worst (Columbia College). Christopher Vizurraga (Edward Ferrars/Robert)
Christopher Vizurraga made his first appearance on the Lifeline Stage in Miss Buncle’s Book in 2015. Since then, he’s worked with Lifeline on Lester’s Dreadful Sweaters, Giggle Giggle Quack (2018 Tour), Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, and Click Clack Moo. Other Chicago credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream and I <3 Juliet at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Captain Blood and Women in Jeopardy with First Folio Theatre, A Q Brothers’ Christmas Carol for two seasons at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, One Man, Two Guv’nors at Court Theater, Pirandello’s Henry IV with Remy Bumppo, Titus Andronicus with Haven Chicago, and many more. He holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Shorter College, and was an Emerging Professional Resident with Milwaukee Repertory Theater in 2013/14.
Christopher Hainsworth (Adaptor)
Lifeline Ensemble Member since 2010, he has penned the Adaptations of Hunger, Monstrous Regiment, and Midnight Cowboy for the Mainstage and Fable-ous! for the Kid Series. He also adapted and directed The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus for LIFELINE ON THE AIR. Has been seen on the Lifeline Stage as Oliver in Talking It Over, Israel Hands in Treasure Island, Marquis de Carabas in Neverwhere (2010), Edmond Dantes in The Count of Monte Cristo, Dhatt in The City & The City, Athos in The Three Musketeers, Buford/Taylor in The Killer Angels (2013), Barsad/Evermonde in A Tale of Two Cities, Mycroft in Miss Holmes (both onstage and in the audio drama adaptation), Islington in Neverwhere (2018 ext), The Creature in Frankenstein, and Josiah Squibb in Middle Passage. He also played Bob/Mac in the Lifeline National Tour of The One and Only Ivan (2019). He directed Her Majesty’s WIll in 2017. Other appearances around town: The House Theatre of Chicago, Uma, Defiant, Steppenwolf, Crew of Patches, The Factory, The Side Project, WildClaw – where he also contributed the script The Fourth Wall to Motel 666, and Strawdog where he is an Emeritus Ensemble Member and Hit Factory Graduate.
Heather Currie (Director)
Heather Currie is an ensemble member with Lifeline Theatre. As an actor she has appeared at Lifeline in Jane Eyre, One Came Home and numerous KidSeries productions. Directing credits at Lifeline include: Time Warp Trio, Fableous!, Lester’s Dreadful Sweaters and You Think It’s Easy Being The Tooth Fairy? which she also co-adapted. Recent directing credits: Spamalot (Wilmette Summer Theatre), Steel Magnolias (Big Noise Theatre), Don Quixote (Mudlark Theater), Madagascar: A Musical Adventure and Junie B. Jones The Musical (Magik Theatre, San Antonio). As an actor she most recently played Sarah Jane Moore in Assassins at The Studio Theatre Tierra Del Sol. Ms. Currie is known in Chicago for playing the Wicked Witch in WOZ: A Wizard of Oz Rock Cabaret with Andre DeShields (Victory Gardens Theatre), and Robin Black in the long running Sexy Baby (Hell in a Handbag Productions). Heather teaches screenwriting in the department of Cinema Arts and Television at Columbia College Chicago.
Kate Reed (Stage Manager)
Kate is excited to be working with Lifeline again after most recently stage managing this season’s virtual production of Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type. Her Lifeline credits include several MainStage productions: Emma, Her Majesty’s Will, Northanger Abbey, Soon I Will Be Invincible, One Came Home, Jane Eyre (2014), and Monstrous Regiment. Her other Chicago area credits include work with Griffin Theatre Company, Mudlark Theater, The Side Project, and Northwestern University. She has a degree in Performance Studies from Northwestern.
Bilal Dardai (Audio Drama Consultant)
Bilal is an ensemble member of Lifeline Theatre, an alumnus ensemble member of The Neo-Futurists, and a staff writer on the acclaimed episodic audio productions Unwell: A Midwestern Gothic Mystery (HartLife), Alba Salix, Royal Physician (Fable & Folly), and The Imagine Neighborhood (Committee for Children). His plays include the Jeff-nominated works The Man Who Was Thursday and The Sovereign Statement, and he also scripted the recently released Spellcast adventure for Six to Start’s Zombies, Run! fitness app. Other work includes the recent world premiere audio adaptation of Jamyang Norbu’s The Mandala of Sherlock Holmes for Book-It Repertory in Seattle, WA, and a new production of the collaborative piece 45 Plays for America’s First Ladies for Forward Theater in Madison, WI.
